Contest #7 Summer, Summer, Summertime!

It's been incredibly dead around here for a few months hasn't it? :stare: Well let's change that shall we!

This is the Co-Mod announcing the start of the :sun:2013 Summer, Summer, Summertime Contest!:sun:

Theme: Summertime :sun:

Draw any Titan, Ally or Villain enjoying :relax: (or hating:onfire:) the heat of the summer season or just loving :relax:
(or hating:onfire:) the heat of the summertime in general! The setting for the piece must occur during the summer, so no snow, no cold...it's gotta be hot!

:bulletblue:Couples pics (romantic or otherwise)
:bulletblue:OCs (either with a Titan or alone)

:bulletblue:Comics

:disbelief: Not Allowed:
:bulletred:Shounen/Shoujo Ai or Yaoi/Yuri
:bulletred:Overly mature content such as sex or gore (PG-13 range people)(If they're in swimsuits, keep it classy.)
:bulletred: Any entry that is not related to the contest theme.

:gallery: Submission Rules:
The contest starts tomorrow May 16th and ends on June 16th30th.
All entries must be submitted to the Contest Folder or they will not be counted.
Only one entry per contestant so be sure the piece you submit is the one you want judged.

:judge: Voting:
:bulletorange:Voting will take place the day after the contest ends and will end on June 21st.

:winner: Prizes

:star:1st place: A full color drawing of any Titan
:star:2nd place: A chibi sketch of any Titan
:star:3rd place: A simple black and white chibi sketch of any Titan
(any of these prizes can be done in either the original Teen Titans style or Teen Titans Go style)

EDIT: I've extended the amount of time for the contest. I've forgotten the days when school ends in late June because in college classes end much sooner! So have all of June to make your masterpieces! And again, happy contesting! :peace:

Avatar: Densetsu Titans Ch.43Terra had been traveling for a long time now. Her colossi was more distance from the castle yet it didn't bug Terra much, since she consider flying most of the way on her stone platform. The wind was nice blowing through her blond hair as she was flying off to her fight. The high speed didn't bother ether, since her goggles kept much debree outta her eyes. As she was flying fast though, the watcher kept running after her, trying her best to catch up...but as she was running, something else raced past and made her fall!

"What the?!"

Avatar: Densetsu Titans Ch.42The alien princess, Starfire, had been flying fast upon the directions given to her by Xreneus. Her flight took a good 30 hours, or a full day and night, to get to where she needed to go.

The area actually was more submerged then most other spots. Pine trees grew around the ruin filled lake where her colossi, Avion, was supposedly guarding. Starfire took some looks around the place, getting an idea on her surroundings...but Avion wasn't around at all it seems.

"Huh?...How hard is it to locate a living, levitating bird statue?" Starfire thought. But as she was steadily hovering over the water, the girl began to notice something isn't right..Avatar: Densetsu Titans Ch.42 by ~Gingacreator
Avatar: Densetsu Titans Ch.41Mel, the golden retriever, was still traveling off far west to find his colossi, Barba. He was traveling a very long way and so far he didn't find any colossi, let alone Barba, so not much luck on his part.

There was one area though he was passing through what remains of a huge citadel. Ruins everywhere. The area was actually early in the morning when Mel arrived, the sun wasn't even showing and a very dim blue was showing in the sky as the moon shined up nicely for it only being 11 at night. Mel did manage to find a small creek going through the ruins and stopped for a drink.

Avatar: Densetsu Titans Ch.40Weed had been running strait from the start since Xreneus told him where to go. The direction he was heading is right off west and has been for about a day now. Though he was alone, he never felt like it. Now he knows where he is and where his friends are. One day...he had made it.

Weed. The young blue Akita. Had finally found where he should be. The large area was lush and green. Grass grew all around as moss sprouted from the wall. His trail opened up on a huge concave, opening up out into a valley, with 4 hills at its center.

"Whelp...here I am. Hope Phaedra isn't as much trouble to beat." Weed thought, going down a wall path to the vallAvatar: Densetsu Titans Ch.40 by ~Gingacreator

The fans of Teen Titans have been lobbying for years to get the show back on and instead we have been givien a parody, this beyond unacceptable and should be taken as the ultimate "screw you" to the fan base. We need to show them we will not take this, we can do this two ways one by signing this petition:[link] and two by refusing to watch the show when it comes on if the show plummits it will be canceled and then we will have the chance to get the real one back, let's show these people we are serious, it is in no way too late to get the show we know and love back
